Congratulations Florida Trend Legal Elite!
Each year Florida Trend magazine surveys in-state members of The Florida Bar to name attorneys whom they highly regard or would recommend to others to identify Florida’s Legal Elite. Less than 2% of active Florida Bar members achieve this designation.
The Attorneys’ Real Estate Councils of Florida Board of Directors would like to congratulate the following Real Estate Council leaders and members who were honored this year.

On August 10th Florida ARECS hosted its Second Annual International Real Estate Legal Update in support of two of our local RECs, the Broward Attorneys’ Real Estate Council and the Attorneys’ Real Estate Council of Palm Beach County.

On May 12th, the North Dade & Beaches REC hosted a program discussing the evolving landscape of employment law due to the pandemic, entitled Requirements to Keep Your Real Estate Practice Safe in COVID Times. It was a truly timely topic which the Members could apply to the daily management of their firms.

On March 23rd, West Palm Beach Attorney Manuel Farach presented his very popular Annual Real Estate & Business Case Law Review to members of Capital Region, Emerald Coast, Escambia, Jacksonville and North Florida in what was described as a “Great North Florida Mega-REC Event”! This two-hour, Florida Bar accredited, review of case law is geared toward the real estate and business practitioner.

There used to be distinct boundaries between “personal” and “professional” but with remote work and remote learning for children, we are all adapting to this new hybrid environment, and the Real Estate Councils are no different.

The North Dade & Beaches REC hosted their first event of the year on January 13th when they featured a program discussing various aspects of the PPP Loan Forgiveness Application, a topic of great importance to many law firms and title companies.
Florida ARECS: Bringing Members & Realtors® Together
Florida ARECS and The Fund are always ready to support our Real Estate Councils and their efforts to build relationships with their local Realtor® Associations.
Over the last few years, we have worked with Bay Area, Broward, Central Florida, Highlands, Jacksonville, Palm Beach, North Dade & Beaches, South Miami-Dade and Volusia RECs to host ad-hoc seminars, Law Symposiums and Legal Summits for the Realtors® Associations in their areas.
