The Attorneys’ Real Estate Council of Miami-Dade and North Dade & Beaches REC held their annual joint meeting featuring Manny Farach’s Business & Real Estate Case Law Update.
The Bay Area REC welcomed Dr. Brad O’Connor, Chief Economist for Florida Realtors® to speak at their Annual Economic Outlook Luncheon. He presented a humorous economic program that attracted 90 attendees, including both Members and Realtors®.
On February 17th the Jacksonville Area REC hosted Unlocking the Code: Demystifying the Code Enforcement Lien Process. Cherry Pollock from the City of Jacksonville discussed the various municipal liens, how they are processed, along with the opportunities available to mitigate these liens when rehabilitating properties. The event offered a unique opportunity for Jacksonville attorneys to get to know Ms. Pollack and have a meaningful conversation with her on these issues. Fund Sr. Underwriting Counsel Jalinda “Jay” Davis was also on hand to offer insights into insurability.
The Palm Beach REC hosted Are Robots Taking Over? on February 24th. The program featured a presentation by officials from the Clerk of Court discussing how they have implemented artificial intelligence.
