Promotional Resources

Florida ARECS provides two great resources that REC members can use, at no cost, to promote themselves and their practices.

The Blog appears on the home page of, the website serving all twenty real estate councils. If technology is not your thing you may be asking yourself, “What is a blog?” The term blog is actually short for “weblog” which is a brief online journal or series of comments, stories or articles. The Blog is dedicated to communicating our message of the value of an attorney in real estate transactions. The articles published are not formal scholarly pieces but are instead written for real estate agents and consumers and address topics from “What is Title Insurance?” and “Why Real Estate Agents Need to Understand Florida Homestead Law” to this month’s “Discussion of the recent Moreno v. First International Title 176 So.3d 301.” We would like to extend a special “Thank you” to Ira Price, who wrote the Moreno piece, and Alexander Cubas, who translated it into Spanish – our first Spanish language blog article!

Blog content is highly searchable and contributes significantly to a website’s performance with search engines like Google and Bing so every new article published helps drive more readers to where they learn more about real estate attorneys – and perhaps you in particular. Help us help you by contributing an article to the Blog. It’s easy!

Florida Realtors® Legal News

Earlier this year Florida Realtors® launched a bi-weekly publication, Florida Realtors® Legal News, in response to a growing need for legal education and support for their members. They have invited Florida ARECS to collaborate on articles addressing legal issues of interest to real estate agents. Upcoming issues will deal with a wide range of topics including the inspection provision of the FR/BAR Contract and the rules governing tenants with service animals.

If you are interested in contributing an article:

  • Submit your topic ideas to the REC Relations Manager so the Florida Realtors® Legal News editorial board can review.
  • If your topic is approved they will ask you to submit a draft.
  • Articles should be 350-500 words in length.

This is a tremendous opportunity to gain exposure to nearly 110,000 Realtors® for no cost. In addition, your article will appear on for one year. If you are interested in publishing an article in either of these resources or have questions, please contact Rene’ Rutan, our REC Relations Manager, at This email address is being protected from spambots.
