Resource Feature

Both The Fund and Florida ARECS have been successful at reaching real estate agents through both education and traditional advertising.  However, the public can be more difficult to reach.  Social media is effective, but we are looking for a more personal interaction between real estate attorneys and the public.  The RECs held successful homeowner workshops during the Great Recession as Nishad Khan referred to in his remarks at the RPPTL meeting however, in the absence of an economic catastrophe, we need a new way to reach people on a personal level.

Introducing the new Florida ARECS Workplace Real Estate Education Program.

This program addresses the biggest challenge in reaching the public in person – attracting them to an event.  They don’t come to us.  We go to them.  The program is designed to be offered to large employers, who in turn can offer this 1-hour seminar to their employees for no charge.  Financial wellness is good for employees and it’s good for business.

We held a pilot presentation for Fund employees in Orlando on February 25th and received phenomenal feedback.  Our thanks to Florida ARECS Director Erin Prete of Stanton, Gasdick & Early, P.A. for her excellent presentation!
