Jocelyn joined Swaine & Harris, P.A., as an associate in our Sebring office in 2015. She is a native of Hardee County, with strong family roots spanning five generations.
A graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Jocelyn earned a Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law, in addition to her Juris Doctor degree and Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Jocelyn’s undergraduate degree, from the University of Florida, included a Bachelor’s of Science in Food and Resource Economics and a minor in Agriculture and Natural Resources Law. She served as Vice-president for Gator Collegiate Cattlewomen and competed on the University of Florida horse judging team. Before finishing her undergraduate work, she completed an internship with Bayer CropScience, and studied abroad in Paris, France and Ireland.
In her spare time, Jocelyn and her husband, Justin, manage their cow-calf operation. She also enjoys riding horses and barrel racing.
Jocelyn is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts.

Pamela T. Karlson grew up in Lake Placid, Florida and graduated from Lake Placid High School in 1989 as the Valedictorian. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Stetson University in 1991 and her law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 1994. Pam was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994. She became Board Certified by the Florida Bar in the area of Real Estate Law in 2014. She worked at several law firms in Key West, Fort Lauderdale and Sebring until she opened her own law practice, in 2003, in her hometown of Lake Placid. Pam is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Her practice areas include Real Estate, Probate, Estate Planning and Elder Law. Pam also serves as the attorney for the Board of South Florida State College and is the Highlands County Special Magistrate over code enforcement matters. While keeping a busy law office running, Pam is also involved in a great many professional, volunteer, community and faith based activities, such as the Highlands County Bar Association, Justice Teaching Program, Take Stock In Children, Ag Venture, Leadership Highlands, Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge 2661, Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce, First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid, Scholarship Recognition, and Lake Placid Junior Women’s Club. Pam was the Judge Clifton M. Kelly Champion for Children Award recipient in 2013 and the Lake Placid Elk’s Citizen of the Year in 2015.

Steven Southwell is a life-long Floridian. Steven was born in Arcadia, grew up in Wauchula and attended the University of Florida, earning Bachelor of Science in Food and Resource Economics with a focus on AgBusiness Management and Marketing and Master of AgBusiness degrees from the College of Agriculture and his Juris Doctor from the College of Law.
Prior to law school Steven worked in sales and marketing within the AgBusiness sector for crop production companies and specialized agricultural software design firm. Steven began his legal practice in Tampa with a statewide firm focusing on environmental, land use, zoning and regulatory issues. Steven was fortunate to return to his hometown of Wauchula in 2006. Steven is marred to Tiffany and proud to be the father of three young children.
