Realtor Education Library

However, researching and designing a new seminar can be too time consuming for the busy practitioner. So we are pleased to announce that Florida ARECS has collaborated with The Fund's Legal Education department to create a library of ready-to-use seminars that RECs and their member attorneys can use. Tips from Florida ARECS

Tip #1:
Have you checked your REC Profile?

Florida ARECS' website contains profiles for nearly 1,000 REC Member real estate attorneys. Distinguish yourself by selecting areas of practice so consumers and Realtors® know what you do.

You will also have a chance to indicate if you are Florida Bar Board Certified. While you're there be sure to add your website so users have the ability to learn more about you.

To access the Florida ARECS Member Directory go to the submissions directory and enter your name in the Search field. Click on Update Your Information to make a change.

Tip #2:
Great Speaker Ideas!

Would you like some help identifying new speakers for your REC meetings? Here are a few of the most popular suggestions from RECs around the state:

• Incoming President of your local Board of Realtors®
• Commercial Real Estate Broker to provide insight into local commercial market
• Local Property Appraiser or Tax Collector
• Building and Zoning Officials
• An Economist
• Regional or local expert in other area of practice, e.g. Submerged Lands Claims, Construction Litigation and Case Law
• Lastly, The Fund's Legal Education Department is a great resource for timely education topics
